For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve...
One of our Core Values at Open Door is "Saved People, Serve People." We have a wide variety of opportunities to serve no matter what area you are gifted. Whether it is helping in a classroom, cleaning the church, mowing and trimming a lawn at the church or for shut-ins, audio video ministry, security team, ushers and greeters, etc. We would love to plug you into an area of service!

Serve in our church
Use your unique gifts to help build the Kingdom.
We believe that the work of the ministry is the responsibility of every Christian. Ephesians 4:11-16, "And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love."
How do I volunteer?
Our site operations manager, Brad Bennett, is the one to help you get involved. Brad would love to talk with you about where God has equipped you for service. Once we get you signed up to serve, we will connect you with the leader of that particular ministry to get you plugged in for service!
How do I volunteer with children?
All of our volunteers working with children must go through a strenuous background check before they begin with volunteering. Once that is complete, we will connect you with the Julie Barber to begin training.
How do I volunteer with music?
Annie Bennett is our church Worship leader and is constantly looking for people that God has gifted in the area of music. Whether you can play an instrument or sing. Annie will be able to help you find a place to serve the Lord with your gifts!
How do I volunteer with students?
All of our volunteers working with students must go through a strenuous background check before they begin volunteering. Once that is complete, we will connect you with Darin Diggs, our Youth Pastor, to begin training to serve.
